Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at LanceSoft. As a Clinical Care LVN/LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
- Administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19 and influenza vaccines, and provide patient education and counseling.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services, as well as diagnostic tests such as EKG and retinopathy screening.
- Take vital signs and perform point-of-care testing, including COVID testing.
- Assist with patient registration and intake, wait room management, and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
- Order equipment and prepare the clinic for optimal patient care.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of related work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience documenting in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws, and perform point-of-care testing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation.
- Pass a Fit Test and wear a respirator mask when required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Phlebotomy Certificate or experience preferred; internal phlebotomy training available for those without experience.
- Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings.
