Job Title: Surgical Technologist

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Grafton, Wisconsin.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to assist our surgical team in providing high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the operating room, maintaining aseptic techniques, and assisting the surgical team during procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, including setting up equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain aseptic techniques and ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment.
  • Assist the surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments and supplies.
  • Transport patients and equipment as needed.
  • Perform various patient positioning and transporting duties, which require lifting and pushing/pulling.
Requirements:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months.
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
  • No experience required.
