Job Title: Armed QRT Officer

Job Summary:

Titan Protection and Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Armed QRT Officer to join our team. As an Armed QRT Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, community, and visitors. You will conduct foot patrols, vehicle patrols, enforce security protocols, and respond to incidents when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide armed security services on a per-as-needed basis, covering shifts for regular security staff when needed
  • Rotate through different shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, and overnights. At least one weekend shift, and holidays as needed.
  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security
  • Respond to alarms and emergencies, following protocols and procedures
  • Maintain a visible presence to deter any potential security breaches
  • Conduct regular security checks to identify and address any safety hazards or violations
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any security-related incidents or concerns
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to employees and visitors when needed
  • Complete thorough and accurate incident reports as required
  • Stay updated on security procedures, protocols, and industry trends

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or corrections.
  • Ability to work at least one weekend shift per week
  • Availability to work on a per-as-needed, including rotating shifts and variable schedules/locations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure situations
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in accordance with established procedures
  • Ability to perform the duties required, including standing, walking, and potentially restraining individuals if necessary
  • Familiarity with security systems and technology
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required for the role)
  • Knowledge of firearms preferred
  • Knowledge of security preferred
