Overview

The University of Chicago's Department of Radiology is seeking a full-time Section Chief at senior rank for up to a five-year renewable term. As Section Chief, the appointee will lead the Pediatric Radiology Section with the overarching goal of enhancing its clinical and academic excellence.

Job Responsibilities
  • Foster professional and academic excellence in pediatric radiology
  • Implement methods to improve performance and well-being
  • Provide support and guidance for educational advancement and research endeavors
  • Train and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows
Requirements

The appointee must have a medical doctorate or equivalent, be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and the State of Indiana, hold or be Board certified in Radiology, and have completed a Pediatric Radiology fellowship or have equivalent experience in pediatric radiology.
