Job Summary:

The Travel Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography exams, maintaining equipment, and providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced radiology environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform mammography exams, including screening and diagnostic procedures, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the exam process.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in mammography, with a strong background in radiology and patient care.
  • ARRT certification and Mammography certification, with BLS certification.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR and PACS systems, with knowledge of department-specific equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
