About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Design Consultant to join our team at Walter E. Smithe Furniture & Design. As a Sales and Design Consultant, you will be responsible for working closely with residential clients to design rooms that inspire and delight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Make connections with clients who visit our showroom and provide them with exceptional customer service.
  • Manage multiple design projects at any given time, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Use various technology to drive business and meet client needs, including 3D Floor Planning Software and CRM Systems.
  • Be available to work weekends, evenings, and some holidays to accommodate client needs.
  • Need access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license to make home calls.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals, earning competitive, uncapped commissions.

  • Competitive, uncapped commissions paid when on order, with the option to switch to commission at any time during the paid training period.
  • Paid training: $20/hour for the first 4 months, with the option to switch to commission at any time during this period.
