Job Description

As a Staff Nurse in the Tower 8 Nephrology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission.

Scope of Position:

The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model. This includes managing and providing care to patients and their families, directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team, and promoting a culture of safety and quality.

Position Summary:

The Staff Nurse is a key member of the patient care team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Education Required:

A 2-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a major in nursing is required. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a major in nursing is desired.

Required Qualifications:

A degree in nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program is required. Current Ohio licensure or interim permit is also required. Experience in a relevant care setting is preferred.
