Oncology LPN

Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join its oncology team on a part-time night shift basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering patient-centered care, with a focus on providing innovative and compassionate care to patients with new or complicated cancer diagnoses and hematological disorders.

As an LPN on our oncology unit, you will have the opportunity to grow your skills in areas such as central lines, wound care, ostomy care, IV therapy, corpaks, G-Tubes, NG tubes, and more.

Our 41-bed unit is dedicated to providing personalized care to all patients, working closely with Mercy Hospitalists, Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Palliative Care, Hospice, and Chaplains.

• Providing direct patient care, including administering chemotherapy, managing complex wounds, and performing various medical procedures.

To be eligible for this role, candidates must have a current LPN license, 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting, and certifications in Basic Life Support and LPN-IV Therapy.
