Job Title: Electronic Assembler III

At Dover Corporation, we are seeking an experienced Electronic Assembler III to join our team in Salisbury, Maryland. As a key member of our Microwave Products Group, you will play a critical role in building and assembling electronic components for our mission-critical engineered electronic components and subsystems.

Job Summary:

The Electronic Assembler III will be responsible for building and assembling electronic components using appropriate machinery and tools to ensure quality and proficiency in the completed product. This includes utilizing various soldering techniques, adhering to manufacturing operating procedures, and conducting inspections of completed work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems using a variety of techniques, including soldering, welding, and bonding.
  • Position and align parts in specified relationships to each other in jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices.
  • Connect component lead wires to printed circuits or route and connect wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
  • Perform intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, and curing parts and assemblies.
  • Adjust or trim materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.
  • Perform on-line go-not-go testing and inspection using magnifying devices, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience or specialized training.
  • Previous soldering experience or skills are a must.
  • J-STD or IPC certification preferred but not required.
  • Mathematical skills required with emphasis on the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentage.
  • Ability to interpret bar graphs.
  • Thorough knowledge of calibration, reading drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Salary Range:

$19.00 - $23.00
