Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center Hawthorne. As a CVT, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.

Responsibilities:

  • Certification and Licensure: Possess and maintain current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, CCRN, TNCC, EFM, and ARDMS.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular technologist role, with a strong background in preparing and setting up equipment, evaluating patient condition, recording and calculating parameters, performing ECG tracings, and participating in ambulatory ECG monitor programs.
  • Job Requirements:
    • ARDMS Certification: Must possess and maintain current ARDMS certification.
    • BLS Certification: Must possess and maintain current BLS certification.
    • Clinical Experience: Must have experience in preparing and setting up equipment, evaluating patient condition, recording and calculating parameters, performing ECG tracings, participating in ambulatory ECG monitor programs, performing tests with portable equipment, obtaining patient history, positioning patients on tables, assisting medical staff during procedures, maintaining department records, reports, and files.

    Additional Requirements:

    • AHA Certifications: Must possess and maintain current AHA certifications.
    • Certification Verification: Must verify certifications by position with AM/PM until UDs are utilized.
