The Central Region Throughput RN serves as a clinical resource for the Facility Patient Logistics HUB, utilizing best practices and technology to facilitate efficient patient flow and staffing experiences.
Responsibilities- Participate in patient assignment to appropriate units based on admission criteria
- Prioritize deployment of support services to maximize bed capacity
- Collaborate with HUB team and care teams to ensure comprehensive and reliable patient flow
- Provide operational support for patient flow, including bedside clinical support
Licensure: Current and valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse
Experience: Minimum of 3 years RN experience, including 1 year Telemetry or higher
Preferred: Minimum of 3 years acute care experience, including 1+ year critical care or ED for transfer center duties
Certification/Registration: BLS
