Job Summary:We are looking for a talented Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of Space Control systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining requirements, interfaces, test and verification plans, and system integration plans based on space defense kill chains.
Key Responsibilities:- Interface with customers to provide end-to-end mission architecture system capability/requirements to achieve a desired mission effect.
- Conduct and develop products in IPTs and Working Groups that address the design/development, production, and integration of Space Control systems.
- Build an understanding of adversarial threats-based kill chains facing US space assets.
- Facilitate/develop/present resolution of issues related to system-of-systems integration.
- Develop and maintain mission architecture interface requirements for Space Control programs.
- Develop system-of-systems verification plans and trace verification plans to test events.
- Develop system integration plans for end-to-end system capability.
- Collect, analyze, and report on data collected during system-of-systems integration events.
- BS in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience.
- Mission Engineering experience is a plus.
- 10+ years of relevant technical experience in aerospace.
- 5+ years in space system requirements verification, test and evaluation.
- Independent problem solving with a variety of mission architecture systems engineering abilities.
- Candidate must have excellent oral/written communication skills and customer relationship skills.
- Candidate must be an independent problem solver, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Master's degree in engineering.
- Experience with classified programs.
The salary for this position ranges from approximately $150,000 to $175,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
