Position Title: Quality Inspector – Finished Goods

Overview:
This role is focused on ensuring the quality of products before they are dispatched to customers. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for identifying defects and ensuring that all materials meet specified standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detecting and eliminating defects in products prior to shipment.
  • Assessing materials based on their form, fit, function, and finish, and coordinating any necessary additional processing.
  • Conducting inspections of material rolls for quality assurance.
  • Measuring and cutting materials according to customer specifications.
  • Interpreting work documents as required.
  • Managing the movement and adjustment of material rolls as needed.
  • Setting up and configuring machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Inputting data into the computer system accurately.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience and/or training preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in computer usage.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Strong vision for identifying product defects.
  • Capability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience with hoists and pallet jacks.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
