Hospice Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Aide to join our team at Amedisys Inc. in providing high-quality care to patients in their homes.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient-centered care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Provide personal care services to patients, including assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist patients with prescribed exercises and therapies as instructed by nurses or therapists.
• Perform simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin.
• Document any changes in patient status and report to the primary nurse if unable to perform certain tasks.

• CNA experience within the last two years is required.
• A current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant is necessary.
• CPR certification is also required.

Amedisys Inc. offers a competitive salary of $24.50-$26.00 per hour, depending on location and experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
