Cone Health is seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer Dual Registered to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced professional to perform various vascular and diagnostic ultrasound exams. As a DG Registered Vascular Sonographer Dual Registered, you will be responsible for interpreting and analyzing ultrasound images to provide comprehensive reports, maintaining patient records, and facilitating effective communication among the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts ultrasound examinations using advanced imaging technology, capturing clear and detailed images to aid in accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring patient progress.
  • Interprets and analyzes ultrasound images to provide comprehensive reports for physicians and aid in timely and accurate diagnosis for appropriate patient management and improved healthcare outcomes.
  • Maintains and prepares ultrasound equipment and supplies for patient testing to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
  • Adheres to strict safety protocols during ultrasound procedures to minimize risks and ensure patient well-being.
  • Provides excellent patient care by addressing patient concerns, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout the imaging process to increase patient satisfaction and cooperation.
  • Maintains and reviews patient records and charts, and files test and examination results in chart after physician review to support efficient healthcare delivery and facilitate effective communication among the healthcare team.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology, Imaging or related educational program and/or ultrasound program.
  • 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification by ARDMS or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) by CCI.
  • Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist by ARDMS or Registered Ultrasound Technologist by ARRT RT(S).
  • BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider certification.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
