Job Title: Store Operations Manager

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Store Operations Manager will oversee staff management, inventory control, sales objectives, and daily operational activities for their designated location. This role requires motivating and guiding employees to achieve their best while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and established operating procedures. Effective communication across all organizational levels is essential to implement and uphold store objectives, policies, and procedures, all while embracing the SEE philosophy (Speed, Efficiency, Empathy) and fostering a positive environment.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive sales and revenue growth
  • Uphold exceptional customer service and compassion for all patients
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance service standards and attract new clientele
  • Manage daily customer service operations, including sales processes and transactions
  • Maximize profitability by overseeing expense budgets, including deposits and profit and loss
  • Ensure adherence to all state-specific cannabis regulations and compliance measures
  • Generate reports and analyze retail data, including revenues and competition
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain store functionality and presentation
  • Review and update departmental SOPs, ensuring effective communication of changes
  • Assess employee performance and identify training needs
  • Lead and inspire staff to excel in their roles
  • Provide coaching and support to team members
  • Monitor and manage store inventory
  • Engage with customers to assess their needs
  • Analyze consumer behavior to optimize product placement
  • Address and resolve customer complaints
  • Research new products and update store offerings accordingly
  • Schedule and analyze employee shifts to ensure adequate coverage
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with four years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience
  • Prior management experience in retail or customer service is advantageous
  • Experience with cash handling is required
  • Ability to train, develop, and evaluate a team of over 40 employees
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
  • Proficient in conversational English to interact with customers and team members
  • Proven analytical skills to interpret data and inform operational decisions
  • Respectful and polite interaction with customers and team members is essential
ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must possess the mental and physical capabilities to perform job duties
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is:
  • Required to move throughout the facility, including confined spaces
  • Must communicate and exchange sensitive information with others
  • Required to observe and inspect details at varying distances
  • Frequently manipulate objects of various sizes and weights
  • Push/pull objects up to 50lbs and lift/carry objects of similar weight
  • Ascend and descend ladders and steps
  • Position self at floor level as needed
  • Occasionally remain seated during tasks
WORK SCHEDULE:
  • 45+ hours weekly with flexible hours based on store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
