Job Summary

HourlyWork seeks a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver Specialist to provide daily support and supervision to individuals with autism or intellectual disability.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year (based on 40 hours/week).

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide a supportive environment by attending to individual needs, respecting differences, and supporting growth and independence;
  2. Maintain the home and its furnishings, including minor indoor and outdoor work;
  3. Attend to the health needs of each individual, including necessary appointments, proper diet and exercise, and properly administer medication to individuals;
  4. Deal with immediate individual problems in collaboration with program staff;
  5. Assist in the management of household budget and individual expenditures;
  6. Attend meetings and training as required;
  7. Assist in the preparation of reports as required;
  8. Oversee and assist with the daily operation of the home;
  9. Act as host for potential referrals and visitors;
  10. Provide transportation for individuals as required;
