About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Addiction Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at Signet Health. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Services team, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based treatment modalities to individuals in need of therapeutic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapeutic services onsite at the Outpatient Clinic, including individual therapy, group therapy, intakes, and addiction/co-occurring services.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of qualified health care professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Ensure compliant documentation of clinical services, assessments, referrals, and other clinically related entries within our electronic-medical-record (EMR).
  • Organize and present case presentations with the clinical team and prescribers.
  • Plan proactively for step-downs and discharge planning for patients assigned to your caseload.
Requirements
  • Active District of Columbia LICSW or LPC license is required or be eligible for endorsement.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience within a community mental health, outpatient mental health clinic or addictions program.
  • Experience with accessing local community resources and facilitating group therapy.
  • Strong organization, initiative, and time management skills.
  • Ability to serve as an addiction related subject matter expert within a supportive interdisciplinary team.
