Residential Caregiver

Communicare Inc is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Assistant to join our team. As a Residential Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals living in our residence, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

• Assist individuals with daily living skills, personal hygiene, and social skills
• Monitor and document individual progress and development
• Provide a normalized atmosphere and develop activities to encourage interaction
• Coordinate with other service providers to incorporate activities and trainings
• Administer medication, record refills, and ensure compliance with medication protocols
• Understand and meet dietary needs, prepare meals, and maintain a clean and safe living environment
• Transport individuals to appointments, shopping, and recreational activities
• Ensure individuals have adequate supplies of clothing, personal, and household items
• Complete paperwork, including notes, drills, incident reports, and billing
• Participate in agency continuing quality improvement activities

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
• Must have effective communication skills and be able to interact effectively with the public and staff
• Must provide own transportation
• Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) Certificate preferred

Work involves evening, nights, weekends, and holidays. Possible exposure to communicable diseases. Strength, balance, and dexterity required for safe physical management techniques.
