Job Summary

As a key member of our metrology team, you will be responsible for the calibration, maintenance, and repair of complex measuring instruments, test systems, and equipment in the field of mechanical metrology, optics, and precision mechanics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform calibration, maintenance, and repair of complex measuring instruments, test systems, and equipment
  • Conduct measurements using 3D coordinate measuring machines
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to clarify technical conditions
  • Perform uncertainty calculations as part of calibration processes
  • Develop and maintain calibration protocols and documents using common IT tools
  • Develop calibration procedures for initial calibrations in accordance with internal and external standards and regulations
Requirements
  • Degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Several years of professional experience in metrology is advantageous
  • CAD knowledge (CATIA V5, sketch, part, shape, product)
  • Basic programming knowledge (e.g. variables & loops)
  • Knowledge of analytical geometry (vectors, matrices)
  • Knowledge of construction theory (technical drawings)
  • Experience with specific software (OPAL, PDM, VBA) is advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
