Position Summary
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care. The responsibilities include:
  • Conducting thorough pre-anesthetic evaluations and preparing comprehensive health histories.
  • Performing detailed physical examinations and requesting necessary diagnostic tests.
  • Administering pre-anesthetic medications and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia procedures.
  • Overseeing preoperative and intraoperative care to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Managing all equipment, monitors, supplies, and medications required for anesthesia administration.
  • Administering anesthetics and related medications while ensuring patient stability throughout the procedure.
  • Executing airway management and inserting peripheral venous catheters as needed.
  • Implementing non-invasive monitoring techniques in line with current standards.
  • Evaluating patient responses during the emergence phase and providing necessary pharmacological support.
  • Conducting post-anesthesia follow-up assessments to ensure optimal recovery.
  • Initiating respiratory support to maintain adequate ventilation and oxygenation.
  • Administering cardiovascular support as required during the post-anesthesia period.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with an unencumbered state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
  • Current board certification from the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
  • A valid license to practice in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a CRNA.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
