Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network/Server Engineer to join our team at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA.

This is a technically diverse team that includes Help Desk Specialists, Network Engineers, System Administrators, and Database Professionals.

The team provides IT Operations and Support to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), which is responsible for training law enforcement professionals from over 90 different agencies.

Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering, design, implementation, and maintenance tasks on the networking environment.
  • Assist with peer reviews on network maintenance, projects, and initiatives.
  • Identify, review, and recommend security postures to peers and appropriate security teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems.
  • Install hardware such as routers, firewalls, wireless, and switches.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of network engineering experience within a technically diverse environment.
  • Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree with an emphasis on Information Technology - Network Administration/Engineering.
  • Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Proficiency in network engineering - Cisco switching and routing.
  • Understanding of engineering Aruba Networks switching.
  • Strong understanding of IPv6, IPv4, and dual stacking.
  • Strong understanding of OSPF routing protocol.
  • Strong understanding of SDN and automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills using the English language.
  • CCNA (Cisco) and ACSA, ACSP, or ACSX (Aruba Networks) switching certificates - preferred.
  • Must be able to pass the Federal Law Enforcement Background Investigation.
Salary and Benefits

Posted Min Pay Rate: USD $68,075.00/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate: USD $108.40/Yr.

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance.

This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
