Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT examinations accurately and efficiently, while providing exceptional patient care and service.

Responsibilities
  • Select and operate the CT scanner to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Administer contrast media and other related procedures as needed.
  • Document patient information and exam results accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques.
Requirements
  • Completion of a 24-month program in Radiologic Technology at an accredited institution.
  • Valid ARRT (CT) certification.
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
