Position Overview
As a key member of our Facilities Management team, the Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our Hardee's locations. This position is essential for maintaining all restaurant and facility equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct troubleshooting, repairs, and replacements of various equipment and systems.
  • Evaluate repair needs and determine when to engage subcontractors based on cost and time considerations.
  • Perform high-quality repairs on commercial cooking equipment, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and minor plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of truck stock and ensure proper billing for materials used in repairs.
  • Assist in staffing shortages and emergencies as required.
  • Complete administrative tasks efficiently, including logging repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Inspect and maintain the company vehicle to ensure readiness for service calls.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Type I & II EPA certification (Universal EPA preferred).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in service and repair.
  • Experience with refrigeration and commercial restaurant equipment is advantageous.
  • Strong references and the ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
