Overview:

Soliant is in search of a skilled and passionate School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to enhance our educational team. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in fostering students' communication and language skills within a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations to determine students' communication challenges and create tailored intervention strategies.
  • Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students, focusing on areas such as articulation, fluency, expressive and receptive language, and social communication skills.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists to devise and implement effective support strategies for students' communication needs.
  • Track and assess students' progress, modifying therapy plans as needed, and maintain comprehensive documentation of their development.
  • Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing your expertise to shape students' speech and language objectives.
  • Stay informed about the latest research, methodologies, and advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Possession of a valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Experience with school-aged children, ideally within an educational framework.
  • In-depth understanding of speech and language disorders, assessment methodologies, and therapeutic practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to cultivate and sustain positive relationships with students, creating an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.
