Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Multimedia Journalist Trainee to join our team at NBCUniversal in Needham, MA.

This internship offers hands-on experience in multimedia journalism, including reporting, writing, and producing engaging stories for various platforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and write news articles and social media posts
  • Shoot and edit video packages for social media platforms
  • Collaborate with reporters and producers to develop story ideas and concepts
  • Assist with social media management and strategy
  • Cut video from linear shows for use on websites, apps, and social media
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field (in pursuit of)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with video editing software and social media platforms
  • Basic knowledge of Boston MA metropolitan area
