The Logistics Management Specialist will be responsible for coordinating material flow within departments based on production schedules and priorities. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate material flow within departments based on production schedules and priorities.
• Review tasks, requisition materials, and establish delivery sequences.
• Ensure examination of delivered materials for compliance with specifications.
• Supervise material handling, including relocation and transportation.
• Assist Program Supervisor with various tasks.
• Monitor and assign tasks from the tasking email box.
• Ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
• Provide logistical support, including coordinating shipments and managing inventory.
• Oversee tasks and address issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
• Determine technical needs and communicate with personnel for on-time task execution.
Requirements:
• More than five years of direct experience in Logistics management.
• Minimum of two-year specialized experience using the Windows Operating System environment or higher and word processing software such as, MSWord, Excel, etc.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Top Secret level security clearance.
Working Conditions:
The Logistics Management Specialist will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift boxes weighing up to seventy-five (75) pounds. The role may also require operating vehicles when required or as a back-up to any vehicle operator position as the Courier/Driver.
