ABA Technician Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ABA Technician to join our team in Dedham, MA. As an ABA Technician, you will work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement individualized therapy plans and provide direct support to clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

Responsibilities:

  • Implement Individualized Therapy Plans: Work under the supervision of BCBAs to develop and implement tailored therapy plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide Direct Support: Provide one-on-one support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community, to promote skill development and behavior management.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and record data on client progress and behavior during therapy sessions, and analyze results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with BCBAs, other therapists, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field, with a minimum of 1+ years of experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Training and Certification: Completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training and certification is preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $ 45,000 - $60,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Comprehensive training and ongoing supervision are provided by experienced BCBAs.
