Recreation Therapist PRN

Are you a certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are seeking a Recreation Therapist PRN to join our team at Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant.

About the Role
We are a full-service hospital with over 260 beds, providing specialized services for liver cancer care, emergency care, weight loss surgery, urology surgery, vascular surgery, inpatient rehabilitation, colorectal surgery, and behavioral health care. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality of patient care possible, as proven by our consecutive Grade A scores from the Leapfrog's Hospital Safety Grade survey and ranking in the nation's top quartile for patient experience.

Responsibilities
As a Recreation Therapist PRN, you will be responsible for designing and implementing recreational therapy programs for patients, including activities such as arts and crafts, music therapy, and outdoor recreation. You will also work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.

Requirements
We are looking for a certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist with a Bachelor's Degree and experience working in a hospital setting. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
