Job Title: Part Time Car Cleaner at Kahului Airport

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part Time Car Cleaner at Kahului Airport. As a Car Cleaner, you will be responsible for preparing returned rental vehicles and detailing them to return to the customer rental area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize vehicle interior per client standard operating procedures.
  • Vacuuming and Preparation: Vacuum and prepare vehicle interior per client standard operating procedures.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle exterior.
  • Damage Inspection: Check vehicle exterior, windshield, and windows for damage, report damage per standard operating procedures.
  • Tire and Fluid Check: Check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth, convey reportable findings per standard operating procedures.
  • Vehicle Preparation: Check fuel level and warning lights; factory reset vehicle settings to clear customer data.
  • Lost and Found: Check for customer items and place any found items in lost and found.
  • Registration Verification: Verify registration is in vehicle, current, and matches the vehicle license plate.
  • Fluid Levels and Replenishment: Check fluid levels and replenish as needed.
  • Fueling and Staging: Fuel and stage vehicle.
  • Safety Inspection: Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or safety concerns per standard operating procedures.
  • Vehicle Movement: Move vehicle out of the processing area as necessary.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Responsible for wearing proper personal protection equipment (PPE) and ensuring cleaning, detailing, washing, and sanitization supplies are available.
  • Customer Assistance: May transport customers to and from other rental car facility. Assist customers when needed.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 16 years old. Under 18 years old a certification of work is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English fluently.
