About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting principles, and safety protocols.


Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot low voltage systems using wiring schematics, computer software, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform all duties related to electrical and electronics, including running conduit, pulling wire, and making electrical connections.
  • Work independently on wiring and programming engines and power pack systems.
  • ECM programming and working with Programmable Motion Control cards (PCM cards).
  • Perform other duties as required or directed.

Occasional and Infrequent Tasks
  • Complete paperwork for rejected parts.
  • Return leftover parts to the warehouse.
  • Chase parts and fill in necessary paperwork.
  • Train new hires.
  • Document and diagram wiring when needed.

Behaviors and Requirements
  • Read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Use and comprehend specifications, electrical schematics.
  • Knowledge of all electrical components and their ideal operation.
  • Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting principles and application.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED required. Two years minimum in a low-voltage electrician role.


Working Conditions

Some exposure to dirt, oil, and other shop elements.


Responsibility for Equipment and Process

Handles equipment such as multi-meters. Improper use of equipment or failure to correct wiring faults may cause heavy damage. Thoughtlessness or inattention can cause fatal injuries to the incumbent as well as to others.
