Salary Information
This Certified Nursing Assistant role offers competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement. The salary range is $17.00 - $25.50 per hour.
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team as a Travel CNA. This opportunity allows you to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from your home address. As a CNA, you will provide care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care. You will also assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate, and document resident interactions as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
- CNA training and certification required and provided by facility
- Colorado: Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) certification with the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment required
