Job Description
In this role, you will assist registered nurses with patient care tasks, maintain accurate medical records, and perform various clinical duties as assigned. You will also participate in quality improvement initiatives, acquire and maintain current knowledge of LPN scope of practice, and support the missions, philosophy, standards, goals, and objectives of NYULH. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care in a healing, humane, and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in patient centered quality and performance improvement programs consistent with service and departmental programs
* Acquires and maintains current LPN knowledge and competence to fulfill responsibilities
* Supports the missions, philosophy, standards, goals and objectives of NYULH
* Collects patient healthcare data systematically and, on an on-going basis, using appropriate assessment techniques and instruments
* Enforces adherence of NYULH and FGP policies and procedures and standards including but not limited to HIPAA, Compliance, Human Resources, etc.
* Participates in coordination of unit activities to provide patient care in a healing, humane and caring environment
* Engages in self-assessment and participates in activities to promote own professional growth and development
Education and Qualifications
To qualify, you must have a Graduate of LPN program with current NYS OP LPN licensure and registration. Ability to complete multiple tasks efficiently and thrive in a team work environment is required. Physical stamina, manual dexterity, visual and aural acuity to perform responsibilities needed are also required.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $65,858.29 - $65,858.29 Annually. This is a full-time position, and we offer a competitive benefits package, including comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
