Job Title: Lead A&P Technician

Job Summary:

As a Lead A&P Technician, you will be responsible for executing licensed A&P Mechanic duties, which encompass repairs, maintenance, modifications, and troubleshooting of Cessna aircraft. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and performance of our aircraft.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic and mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, identifying malfunctions and performing necessary disassembly, rework, repair, and adjustments to ensure aircraft readiness for flight.
  • Inspect and rectify complex aircraft assemblies and systems, including landing gear, air conditioning, and pressurization systems.
  • Overhaul engine components and accessories, such as fuel systems and hydraulic pumps, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Document all maintenance activities clearly and accurately in logs and reports, maintaining thorough records for compliance and quality assurance.
  • Guide and mentor a team of technicians, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding aircraft status and maintenance needs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A&P License is mandatory; alternative qualifications may be considered.
  • Extensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems and inspection procedures is essential.

Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in jet, turboprop, and piston aircraft maintenance is required, with a preference for candidates with 10 years of experience.
  • Experience in a customer service-oriented facility performing aircraft inspections and repairs is highly desirable.
