Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues and maintenance needs.
  • Develop and manage weekly maintenance schedules, assigning tasks to team members.
  • Lead and mentor maintenance staff, providing training and support as needed.
  • Oversee the hiring and management of contractors for specialized maintenance tasks (e.g., electricians, plumbers).
  • Ensure the upkeep of essential building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Maintain internal systems, such as appliances and fixtures, ensuring they are in good working order.
  • Assist in formulating the maintenance budget and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Monitor inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Participate in project coordination, including renovations and upgrades.

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role or similar position.
  • Strong technical understanding of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and timely repairs.
  • Proficient in various trades, including carpentry, plumbing, and appliance repair.
  • HVAC certification is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations is essential.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
  • Understanding of budget management and performance metrics.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications related to maintenance management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call duties.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable transportation is required for efficient maintenance operations.
  • A high school diploma is required; vocational training is preferred.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., CMRP or CPO) are advantageous.
