Key Responsibilities:- Pool Renovations: Perform spring opening and fall winterization of residential swimming pools, ensuring all systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
- Chemical Balancing: Conduct advanced chemical balancing and testing of pool water to maintain optimal water quality and safety.
- Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and heaters, to ensure smooth operation and extend equipment lifespan.
- Pool Equipment Installation: Install new pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and heaters, according to manufacturer specifications and company guidelines.
- Leak Detection and Repair: Conduct pressure tests and leak diagnostics to identify and repair leaks in pool systems.
- Pool Light Replacement: Remove and replace pool lights to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Skimmer and Plumbing Replacement: Replace skimmers and broken plumbing lines to maintain optimal pool performance.
- Safety Cover Installation: Measure and install safety covers according to manufacturer guidelines to ensure pool safety.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all pool services performed, including work orders and customer communication.
- Training and Development: Participate in vendor and trade show training to stay current on pool-related service aspects and best practices.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain company vehicle by keeping it clean, stocked, and in good working condition.
- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and proper level of inventory on vehicle, including pool chemicals and equipment.
- Customer Communication: Clearly communicate with customers, renovations, construction, and warranty divisions regarding customer claim issues and recommendations.
- Warranty Claim Management: Participate in weekly warranty claim reviews and management to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
- Pool Chemical Handling: Handle, transport, and deliver pool chemicals to customers, including chlorine, algaecides, pH balancers, and muriatic acid, according to manufacturer directions.
- Training and Mentoring: Assist in the in-field training of new technicians and ensure that SOPs and safety procedures are followed in the field.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of pool plumbing experience, with expert-level skills and knowledge.
- Skills: Mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, excellent organization skills, quick learner, results-oriented, attention to detail, excellent interpersonal communication skills, team player with customer focus, self-motivated, and willingness and ability to travel.
