As a Community Support Advocate at A.B.C.D., Inc, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive case management services to individuals and families facing economic challenges. Your focus will be on clients residing in the Greater Boston area who are currently at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Line.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate case management records and provide essential support services and referrals.
- Conduct intake assessments and assist clients in setting educational and career objectives.
- Build and nurture collaborative relationships with various public and private organizations to enhance placement opportunities.
- Identify necessary support services and facilitate appropriate referrals while orienting new clients to these programs.
- Lead workshops tailored for diverse community populations.
- Guide clients in completing job applications and crafting resumes for job opportunities.
- Follow up with potential employers and agencies to stay informed about available employment options.
Additionally, you will provide clients with access to services such as EITC tax preparation, food assistance programs, fuel aid, SummerWorks, and Virtual Gateway services, including food stamps and health insurance.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with up to one year of experience in case management, job development, or general office support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse educational, socio-economic, and cultural backgrounds.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
