Position Summary:

Please note this is a pool position.

The primary responsibility is to uphold a clean and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough cleaning and disinfection of surfaces, including floors, furniture, and equipment.
  2. Manage the reprocessing, storage, and distribution of textiles.
  3. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and showers.
  4. Maintain sterile environments through rigorous cleaning protocols.
  5. Dispose of waste, including trash, soiled linens, and hazardous materials, in accordance with regulations.
  6. Perform bed making, dusting, window cleaning, and spot cleaning as required.
  7. Engage in floor maintenance and refinishing tasks.
  8. Report any furniture or equipment that requires repair or replacement.
  9. Assist in training new staff members.
  10. Participate in project cleaning and additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
