Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at Westerman, Inc. in Casper, WY. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing parts on Natural Gas and Oil production equipment, ensuring quality and efficiency in their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe and proper use of various hand/air/power tools
- Properly identify and inspect all parts for defects to ensure quality products
- Assemble NPT connections, thread pipe, bolt up flanges in piping spool runs
- Inspect all connections to ensure they are properly sealed
- Properly identify and document parts/components
- Perform inspection to assure equipment meets quality standards, systems work correctly, the equipment does not leak, and assures all parts are installed correctly
- Assure deficiencies are corrected as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of related work experience and/or training
- Experience with threading pipe, assembling NPT connections, and flange bolt up
- Must be experienced in the use of various hand/air/power tools
- Must be able to read and understand PIDs and blueprints
- Mechanical aptitude a plus
- Basic math skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to frequently bend and stoop, climb ladders, and perform physical labor (with or without a reasonable accomodation)
- Must be able to stand for extended period of time and exert moderate to heavy physical effort with a minimum lifting requirement of up to 50 pounds (with our without a reasonable accommodation)
Compensation
Assembler 1 Salary range $20-$25
Assembler 2 Salary Range $26-$30
Assembler 3 Salary Range $30-$33
Assembler 4 Salary Range $33-$36
