Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tailored recreational therapy sessions to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Travel to clients' locations, utilizing reliable transportation to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or equivalent experience.
  • Active Professional Liability Insurance and CPR certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and caregivers.
  • Flexibility to adapt to diverse client needs and populations.
  • Knowledge of behavioral therapy approaches and principles of therapeutic recreation.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits including flexible scheduling and professional development opportunities.
