Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist Assistant will play a vital role in our team, working under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various physical therapeutic treatments for patients with injuries or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching patients and their families how to use equipment, perform home exercises, and develop techniques for independent living.
  • Administering treatment programs, including modality treatments, therapeutic exercises, hydrotherapy, gait training, and wound dressing, as per the plan of care established by the Physical Therapist.
  • Recording patient progress and reactions to treatment, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Providing technical direction and instruction to Physical Therapy Assistant students, technicians, and attendants.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years of experience working as a PTA is preferred.
  • An Associate Degree from a Physical Therapy Assistant program is required.
  • Curent licensure in the state of employment as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • A valid State of Tennessee Driver's license.
  • Current Auto liability Insurance according to Company Policy.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Our organization also provides opportunities for professional growth and development.

Additional Information:
