Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospital Pharmacy Director to lead our pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations, including medication management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Lead and direct the work of pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and support personnel
- Collaborate with hospital administration, medical staff, and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care and services
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in pharmacy practice and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of medications and supplies
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of pharmacy data and metrics to support quality improvement initiatives
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of pharmacy staff
- Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Pharmacy required
- Master of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D preferred
- At least three (3) years of experience in pharmacy leadership or management
- Ten years of experience in pharmacy practice preferred
- Knowledge of pharmacy principles and practices, including medication management and quality assurance
- Licensed Pharmacist listed by the State Board of Pharmacy
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of professionals

This position is located in Stanton, Texas. Candidates must be willing to relocate to this location or be willing to commute from a nearby area.
