Team Dynamics
Koch Industries is in search of a Control Systems Engineer to be part of our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in the design, implementation, and support of control and automation systems for process equipment, including Honeywell DCS/QCS systems and various PLCs and drives.
- Develop, design, and configure advanced process control methodologies. Maintain comprehensive design specifications for control systems.
- Facilitate optimization and Advanced Process Control initiatives.
- Assist in troubleshooting existing systems to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.
- Serve as a project resource for new instrumentation or control/automation systems.
- Collaborate with corporate teams to introduce new technologies that enhance advanced manufacturing processes.
- Uphold the safety program within the facility through personal commitment and observational support.
- Work closely with facility personnel to identify opportunities for improvement and resolve issues.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline, complemented by internship or cooperative experience in a controls-related role, or relevant industrial experience as an electrical or instrumentation technician.
- Experience within the Pulp and Paper sector.
- Familiarity with Honeywell DCS platforms.
- Knowledge of control system network architecture (e.g., Ethernet, ControlNet, firewalls, and DH+).
