About the JobThis is a fantastic opportunity to work as an independent contractor, providing quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service to clients throughout Fairfax County and surrounding areas.
You will be responsible for delivering outstanding results in a variety of trades, including carpentry, tiling, painting, drywalling, light plumbing, and electrical work. Your expertise will be utilized to complete a range of projects, from small repairs to larger-scale renovations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality work in multiple trades, including carpentry, tiling, painting, and drywalling
- Assist clients with minor electrical and plumbing tasks
- Utilize own standard set of tools, including ladder, power washer, and other necessary equipment
- Travel to job sites using own truck or van
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A successful track record as a Carpenter with estimation skills
- Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks, stair steps, and handrails
- Own standard set of tools, including ladder, power washer, and other necessary equipment
- Current and valid driver's license
- Residence within 25 miles of Fairfax County
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong documentation and invoicing skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Competitive hourly rate: $26-$30 per hour
