Job Title: Per Diem Home Infusion

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Home Infusion professional to join our team at Always Compassionate Home Care.

About the Role:

As a Per Diem Home Infusion professional, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of infusion therapies in patients' homes. You will work closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and make a positive impact on patients' lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide infusion therapies in patients' homes, including antibiotics, fluids, biologics, blood products, TPN/PPN, IVIG, Hemophilia factor therapy, and inotropes.
  • Work with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to physicians.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on infusion therapy and related topics.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience as an RN in infusion therapy.
  • Experience with portable IV pumps, Broviac lines, PICC line/port dressing changes, and accessing/de-accessing implanted ports.
  • Availability to work 2-3 cases/week (minimum 10 hours).
  • Flexible availability with your region/territory.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and stand/work for extended periods.
