Job Title: Lab Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technologist to join our team at BioMerieux, Inc.

Job Summary:

The Lab Technologist will be responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tasks and production processes, including operating and troubleshooting various instruments and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, biochemistry, or biology, and excellent pipetting skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory tasks and production processes in compliance with company policy and quality standards.
  • Operate and troubleshoot various instruments and equipment, including HPLCs, DNA Synthesizers, LC/MS, liquid handling robots, and UV/Vis Spectrometry.
  • Manufacture oligonucleotides according to electronic batch records and WID's.
  • Handle hazardous chemicals in accordance with approved written procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology (or working toward a degree).
  • Strong pipetting skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
