Job Title: Adjunct Faculty Member in Information Systems and Technology

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Adjunct Faculty Member to join our team at Strategic Education, Inc. as an Adjunct Professor of Information Systems and Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Information Systems and Technology in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online instruction.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses as assigned from a pre-designed curriculum, utilizing your professional expertise to provide high-quality instruction.
  • Enhance the strength and effectiveness of the curriculum using technology and videos.
  • Arrive on-campus at least half an hour prior to the start time of in-person sessions per week during the academic quarter.
  • Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the student learning experience for the online component of the course.
  • Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours to ensure students receive quality feedback in a timely manner to support their academic success.
  • Establish high standards and ensure students understand how they will be evaluated.
  • Adhere to University policies and procedures.
  • Attend faculty meetings and workshops or training as required.
Requirements:
  • A Master's and Terminal degree in Information Systems and Technology from a regionally accredited institution is required.
  • CompTIA Network+ or equivalent is preferred.
  • Professional certification in discipline specialty: ISC2 SSCP or other ISC2 Certification preferred.
