Temporary Custodian Position

UC San Diego is seeking a temporary Custodian to support campus operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing semi-skilled and skilled cleaning tasks for various facilities on campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect assigned areas as needed.
  • Empty and clean wastebaskets, ashtrays, and other waste receptacles.
  • Work with building occupants to answer questions regarding custodial services.
  • Effectively work with campus customers and custodial team members to accomplish work with a high level of quality and efficiency.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will be able to start working immediately and be willing to work varied schedules, including nights and weekends. Background checks are required, and applicants must be able to travel to various UC San Diego locations as assigned.
