Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and engaging individual to fill the role of a live-in caregiver. This position involves providing assistance in a private assisted living environment for residents who are mostly self-sufficient but require some support.


Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting residents with daily activities of living (ADLs).
  • Establishing a schedule for laundry and other household tasks.
  • Facilitating two hours of scheduled recreational activities each week.
  • Preparing and serving meals while adhering to dietary restrictions.
  • Performing basic housekeeping duties, including laundry and sanitizing shared spaces.

Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will have at least three months of relevant experience, although we are open to training the right individual. Candidates with certifications such as CNA, GNA, or Home Health Aide are encouraged to apply. A reliable mode of transportation is required. Applicants must have completed at least the 10th grade and possess the ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic. Additionally, CPR and First Aid certification, along with a clear criminal background check, are mandatory.
