Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of mechanical systems and equipment for power plant projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Review and approve engineering deliverables, including design specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and timely completion.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, procedures, and design data for mechanical equipment and systems.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in mechanical discipline project design engineering, with a focus on power and utility stations.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering work processes, procedures, and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of project experience for projects in excess of $250mUSD.
  • Knowledge of 3D CAD software and AutoCAD.
  • Engineering/Construction exposure in multiple disciplines.
  • Knowledgeable of construction/engineering scheduling and execution processes.
